I was born, raised, and lived in Hawaii for the majority of my live. I moved to Washington in mid 2018. I have a degree in Fashion Design and was a multi award winning costumer at my local Community College. The last one was for Phantom of the Opera. Always searching for the perfect fabric for a costume, I ventured into painting on silk in 2015 and found a new passion. I started by attempting to create the design of a vintage kimono. I remember when I was a child, my grandmother would dress me up in the most colorful kimonos to celebrate Girl's Day. It made me feel so special. I still love color and as you can see, my paintings are quite colorful.
Last year I won First Place in the 2D division at the Silk Painter's International Festival, for "Solace". This year I won People's Choice Honorable Mention Award for "Goodbye Dad".
