I haven't blogged for a few weeks. I took my mom on a mini staycation. We went to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival and visited my son in Bellingham. We stayed at a home with a beautiful view of Lake Samish. So calming and meditative.
I have been angry and frustrated with not being respected and as a whole "Women", not being respected. So I started my Women Power series. I am silk painting fabric which I will make into garments. I don't know if it will be a jacket, dress, or blouse, but I am going all out Bold and Beautiful! I finished 2 yards of "Hell Yeah!", I have one more yard to go before I steam it. For those of you who know me personally, this is totally not my usual understated style. But I am mad.... So "Hell Yeah!".
